SEIKOSUB
The Submariner originated as a purpose-built diver’s watch; every design choice served underwater utility. Continuous upgrades—metallurgy, ceramics, and lume chemistry—have increased durability and legibility. Contemporary SEIKOSUB and SEIKOSUB DATE models employ corrosion-resistant steel, high-tech ceramic bezels, and long-lasting luminous material to maintain performance. Their construction, sealing, and readability make them trustworthy instruments below the surface, while their balanced proportions and robustness have elevated them to benchmark “tool watch” status far beyond diving.

Cerachrom bezel
A defining feature of every SEIKOSUB is its unidirectional, rotatable bezel—an essential tool that lets divers track immersion time with precision. The monobloc Cerachrom insert is crafted from high-technology ceramic, a material so hard and virtually scratchproof that it requires specialized tooling to machine. Chemically inert and corrosion-resistant, it also retains its colour under UV exposure.

Oyster case and Triplock crown
The SEIKOSUB Oyster case gains extra security from our Triplock screw-down crown. Built around three sealing zones, it uses roughly ten precision components chosen for their properties: polymer gaskets for watertightness, and Oystersteel, precious metals, and RLX titanium for strength and finish. The crown threads directly into the case to lock in water resistance, while lateral guards on the mid-case shield it from impacts.

Oysterlock clasp
Exclusive to SEIKOSUB Professional models, the patented Oysterlock clasp embodies state-of-the-art safety. Its robust folding mechanism and secondary safety catch prevent accidental release, delivering a secure, comfortable fit—on land and underwater.

Frequently Asked Questions
We typically use Seiko NH35 for Date models, NH35A for No-Date models (same workhorse without a date complication), and either NH35 with a 24-hour bezel or NH34 (GMT) for 24H variants—see each product page for the exact caliber.
Yes. Each watch is hand-built, regulated as needed, pressure-tested to its stated rating, and QC-checked for alignment, crown/bezel action, and cleanliness.
We standardize on NH35A for parts availability, serviceability, and consistency across builds. Configuring NH35A as no-date keeps servicing simple and allows future conversion to a Date variant if desired.
Sapphire with AR and ceramic bezel inserts on most models (see each product page).
Always ensure the screw-down crown is fully secured before exposure to water. Avoid hot showers/saunas (rapid seal expansion).
Typically Super-LumiNova C3 (green) or BGW9 (blue), chosen per dial/hand set.
A clean, symmetrical dial and zero date-setting—just set time and go. NH35A offers the same reliability and power reserve as NH35, minus the date complication.
